Muusikko Roni Kurkijávri
Roni Kurkijávri is a musician and multi-instrumentalist living in Turku. His interests include the integrating effect music has on people. His primary instrument at the moment is the RAV Vast which is a modern metallic instrument although it gives an ancient impression. It represents a new kind of melodic percussion instrument which has only existed since 2013. People around the world have embraced the instrument as their own because it does not represent any known tradition or culture and a strong sense of community has grown around it. Thanks to its harmonic sound the RAV Vast is also growingly used in relaxation and musical therapy.
Hedil Al-Take ja Nesriin Al-Take
Hedil Al-Take and Nesriin Al-Take go to high school here in Turku. They love playing guitar and singing. The cousins say that "when it`s time to stop studying and close our books, we escape to the world of music and lyrics".
