The Night of the Arts in the museum on August 15th; interactive games!

On the Night of the Arts the Turku Biennial tempts visitors to enjoy contemporary art long into the night.

The programme of the Night of the Arts on the 15th of August intertwines with the Turku Biennial – exhibition which is on display at the museum until the beginning of September. Especially the overall exhibition theme of idyll is strongly concerned during the Night of the Arts.

During the evening visitors can take part in an interactive game designed by the artist group YKON. The game will be organised in the museum spaces and in front of the museum at the Elephant Square. At the Turku Biennial there are game spots that invite the visitors to participate and envisage their own or a more universal ideal world as well as to react to the exhibition in other respects. The YKON-game is suitable for all ages.

On the Night of the Arts there is a 50 % discount on entrance tickets to the musem. The game spot in front of the museum is free of charge for the whole night. Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova is open until 12 a.m. on the 15th of August and the programme of the Night of the Arts begins at 7 p.m.
