The quatrefoil annular brooch is a medieval brooch that resembles a four-leaved clover. This particular brooch is made out of a mixture of pewter and lead but similar brooches have also been made out of silver and bronze. The find that dates to the 14th and 15th century is very rare in Finland; only one similar brooch has been found from the excavations of Åbo Akademi University's plot. Closest ecquivalents to Finland are from Germany and Estonia. This brooch was already abandoned when it ended up in the cellar's earth filling during the 17th century.
