A complete skeleton of a cat was found in the backfill of the large stone-built house’s cellar already in 1994. In the excavation undertaken this summer parts of another cat have been found, the hind leg of a cat being the most intact part. In one hind leg there are 28 bones, the majority of which are very small. The deceased cats have simply been buried in the house when it has been filled.
