The Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova Museum is located in Turku on the banks of the River Aura, at Itäinen Rantakatu 4–6, 20700 Turku.
The main entrance to the museum is on Itäinen Rantakatu. A gate to the museum through the inner courtyard is located on Nunnankatu close to the corner with Itäinen Rantakatu.
On foot: The museum is within walking distance from such places as the Cathedral (5 minutes) and the Market Square (10 minutes). A pleasant walk is to go along the streets bordering the river, which contain far less traffic than the other streets in the city centre.
By bicycle: A bicycle park can be found next to the main entrance. Nice and comfortable to move along Itäinen rantakatu.
By bus: The closest bus stop is Kåren at Hämeenkatu. Bus numbers 13 and 61 from the Market Square make a stop here. More information about the timetables and buslines can be found on reittiopas.turku.fi/en.
By car: In the immediate vicinity of the museum, there is only limited parking space. You might find free spaces along such streets as Nunnankatu and Hämeenkatu.
