Conference facilities

Conferences, seminars, lectures and training days organised in the inspiring setting Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova. You may select from two unique conference rooms, the Billiard Room and the Factory.

Billiard Room

The Billiard Room located on the top floor of the Rettig Palace is a party and conference room for up to 22 people, with wonderful river views over the rooftops of Turku. It is especially suitable for smaller customer functions.

  • Audio-visual equipment: fixed data projector (not portable from the museum side), overhead projector, whiteboard, flip chart
  • No internet connection

Factory

The Factory conference facilities located right by the museum's main entrance can be converted for many uses and the furniture is easily moveable to whatever layout you require. There you can hold a meeting, a workshop or even an exhibition day for small-sized products. The room can accommodate up to 45 people (chairs only) or 40 people in lecture-theatre mode.

  • Audio-visual equipment: data projector (not portable from the museum side), wireless internet connection, overhead projector, whiteboard, flip chart

Prices

The prices for the conference facilities are graded according to the duration of the event:

  • €100/ under 2 hours
  • €150/ 2-4 hours
  • €200/ more than 4 hours

These prices are valid on weekdays from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm (not on winter Mondays), and at weekends from 11.00 am to 7.00 pm (only Billiard Room, Factory can not be booked during weekends). If the function starts earlier or continues after 7.00 pm, there is an extra attendant's charge of €50 for each starting hour.

Catering at conferences

The Aula Café which operates within the museum contains a diverse range of cafeteria products and a soup / saladbuffet lunch table every day from 11.00 am - 3.00 pm. For groups of more than 20 people, it is also possible to order, separately by arrangement, a lunch catering service from the Restaurant Blanko.
