Maybe - or maybe not

This exhibition has been made by the members of the Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova's youth club Spöring. It presents some examples of the works done during the season 2007-2008.

The exhibition consists of three parts: short film Aboa by Night which has been written, acted and filmed entirely by the club members and their leaders. The film tells a story of a curse by an evil monk. The curse doomed medieval people to work during all nights for centuries in the old ruins of the Aboa Vetus museum. The curse is quickly solved by some witty children who find out about it.

The club members also have plunged into the world of surrealism. The collage works on the wall are representations of these imaginary land­scapes. As a contrast to that the photos on the other wall tell about the "real world", the pretty and ugly places in the present Turku, chosen and photographed by the club members.
